Quito (2,800 m) – Visit to Cotopaxi National Park (3,830 m) – Return to Quito

Detailed Itinerary

The adventure begins in Quito very early at 07:00 am, our team will pick you up at the door of your hotel, then we will drive along the Avenida de los Volcanes, no more than 1.5 hours until we reach the North entrance of the Cotopaxi National Park where we We will register and quickly continue for 25 minutes by car until we reach the “Laguna Limpiopungo” located at 3,830 m. In this place we will walk for 15 minutes and after some good photos we will continue in our private transport for 30 minutes until we reach the Cotopaxi Parking located at 4,500m high, where we will take what is necessary to visit the “José Rivas” refuge, which is located at 4,800 m. Reaching this point will take us about 1 hour, we will rest and have hot drinks, then we will continue for 30 more minutes until we reach one of the spectacular Cotopaxi glaciers located at 5,000 m, we will take many photos and descend the same path to the Cotopaxi parking lot where Our transport awaits us and in the afternoon we return to Quito.
