The Quilotoa Lagoon is a beautiful volcanic crater lake located at 3,800 meters, between the towns of Zumbahua and Chugchilán. Its emerald waters stretch for two kilometers. Local legend says that it is connected to the ocean, therefore it is salty and contains sulfuric acid. Today, the Quilotoa lagoon has become a main tourist attraction for tourists who marvel at its landscapes and the shape of a crater. extinct here you can do various activities such as: horseback riding, walks around the crater, boat tours, plus camping is allowed in the crater among other things.

Day 1: Quito (2,800 m) - Visit to the Quilotoa Lagoon (3,800 m) - Return to Quito
Our adventure begins early in the morning from Quito at 07:00 a.m. We will drive south along the Avenida de los Volcanes for approximately 3 hours in our private transport, later we will visit the community of Tigua, the cradle of indigenous artists, who through its handicrafts, pictures and paintings represent the life of the countryside and the customs in the Andes, then we will continue for 30 more minutes without first observing the customs and traditions of the indigenous community, to finally arrive at the Quilotoa Lagoon, once at the edge of the crater you will take a couple of incredible photos in order to start the descent into the crater of about 45 minutes of walking inland here you will have the option of taking a small canoe tour in the waters of the volcano, we will also visit bubbles coming out of the water which confirms that it is a crater, after a couple of photos we will return uphill (1 hour) and at the edge of the crater we will have a delicious al Lunch at a local restaurant and in the afternoon we will return to the city of Quito and end of our services.
